 The West Africa School of Heart and Vascular Ultrasound (WASHVU) (washvu.com) was established in Tamale, Ghana in April, 2018 for the primary purpose of providing adult echocardiography training for allied health individuals interested in providing echocardiography services in Ghana. The program is tuition-free with all learning materials  provided including an ultrasound device.
